In the Australian state of New South Wales, Rossmore is considered to be a suburb of the city of Sydney.
It is bounded to the east by Kemps Creek, to the west by South Creek, to the north by Fifteenth Avenue, and to the south by Rileys Creek in the southwest and a man-made border from there. All of these creeks are named South Creek, Kemps Creek, and Rileys Creek, respectively. Bringelly Road is the primary thoroughfare that runs through the middle of the suburb.

Cabramatta was the original name for Rossmore, after the name of the parish that once stood there. Mary Theresa Vidal is credited with penning a book titled The Cabramatta Store, which is thought to be the first novel written and published by an Australian woman. The novel was set in Australia. In the year 1856, a railway line was extended from Granville to Liverpool, and a station was built in the area that is now known as Cabramatta. This area is located in western Sydney. Rossmoor Stud was the name of a horse stud that used to be located in this region. It is thought that the stud was named after Rossmore Lodge, a well-known horse stud located in Kildare, Ireland. In order to prevent people from getting confused with the new station of Cabramatta, the old town of Cabramatta changed its name to Rossmore.

On March 22, 1897, the Rossmore Post Office first opened its doors.
Near the intersection of Bringelly Road and Church Street is where you’ll find the Holy Innocents Anglican Church. Holy Innocents Day, which was on the 28th of December in 1848, was the day that the foundation stone was laid. It is a parish church built in the Gothic Revival style, and it is possible that John Verge and John Bibb were the architects who designed it. It has a steep roof that is covered with shingles, an open porch that is made of timber, a nave, a chancel, a bell tower, and a vestry. It has been given a place on the Register of the National Estate at this point.
