In the Australian state of New South Wales, the suburb of Seven Hills is located in Sydney. Seven Hills, which is a component of the Hills District and Greater Western Sydney region, is situated 27 kilometers to the northwest of Sydney’s CBD.
The Seven Hills Plaza is a significant shopping area. It is close to Prospect Highway and a little south-west of the train station. Seven Hills Regional Shopping Center was its original name when it first opened in 1960.

The region to the north of the railway, surrounded by the Prospect Highway, Abbot Road to the north, Old Windsor Road to the west, and Blacktown Creek to the south, contains a very significant number of industrial and commercial developments. On the southern side of Leabons Lane, close to the intersection with Seven Hills Road South, are the studios of the radio station Hope 103.2 FM and the 1995-built NSW Fire Brigade Station.

The suburb consists primarily of homes. A cul-de-sac like Florida Place is typical of many of the residential streets in Seven Hills, especially those that are located south of the railroad. The structures depict a change from single-story mixed construction homes built in the middle of the 20th century with an average floor area of about 100 m2 on 600–900 m2 lots to replacement homes built in the 2000s with a two–to–three-times larger floor area.

Leabons Lane is representative of roadways with a mix of residential and light commercial use that serve as transportation corridors. Although it is small, the street connects Blacktown with the south Seven Hills residential communities. Take note of the abundance of signs, the numerous traffic lights, and the utility poles covered in TV and overhead power cables that are typical of western Sydney’s street scenes.

Sydney Trains offers frequent service in 34 minutes from Seven Hills to Central. Grantham (the Grantham Estate) and Grantham Heights are included in the suburb. Between Westmead and Bella Vista, where the current route joins Norwest Boulevard, is where the genuine seven hills are located. With more than 2000 commuter parking spaces, Seven Hills railway station is a significant junction on Sydney Trains’ North Shore, Northern & Western Line. On the rail route to Penrith, Seven Hills is located around 27 km away or 34 minutes by train from Central railway station.

Three important thoroughfares connect Seven Hills to other areas of Sydney: the M2 Hills Motorway, M4 Western Motorway, and Westlink M7. Other important thoroughfares in the suburb include Seven Hills Road and the Prospect Highway.
Regular bus services are offered by Hillsbus to the Sydney CBD, Macquarie Park, Baulkham Hills, Bella Vista, Castle Hill, Blacktown, Toongabbie, Pendle Hill, and Parramatta as well as by Busways to Kings Langley. Hillsbus operates two depots in Seven Hills: Hillsbus Seven Hills on Hartley Road and Hillsbus Foundry Road, which also serves as the company’s headquarters.
