St. Clair, in the Australian state of New South Wales, is a suburb of the city of Sydney. The City of Penrith, which includes this area, is located 39 kilometres west of Sydney’s CBD. The Blue Mountains are visible from St. Clair.
Erskine Park Road to the east, the M4 Motorway to the north, and Mamre Road to the west form the boundaries of the suburb. Erskine Park is the neighbourhood located southeast and east of St. Clair. St. Clair is well-known for its family-friendly vibe and the abundance of parkland available for outdoor leisure.

Once known as Fox Dale, the area now known as Erskine Park may be found on the eastern and southern sides of Erskine Park Road and is situated next to St. Clair. Erskine Park is smaller than St. Clair in terms of population and housing, but a huge new industrial sector to the south that includes buildings on Lenore Lane and James Erskine Drive is under construction and will soon bring new opportunities to the area.

Over time, this new construction will connect Old Wallgrove Rd to Lenore Lane and Archibold Road. The result will be a freight corridor connecting the area’s three main industrial areas (Minchinbury, Erskine Park, and Wonderland) as well as the two mines in the area, diverting heavy vehicles down non-suburban back roads, making room on the existing roads for car traffic, and drastically cutting travel time from the current 45 minutes during peak traffic to just 10 minutes.

The St. Clair shopping centre has recently undergone extensive renovations, which included the addition of a food court and outdoor seating. There are restaurants, shops selling newsstand fare, clothing and jewellery, consumer electronics, a petrol station, and a local library among its assortment of services. To the west and south of the commercial centre are two local schools, and to the north are soccer fields with a brand-new skate bowl.
