Werrington is a residential area in the greater Sydney metropolitan area located in the Australian state of New South Wales. Located in the City of Penrith, which is a part of the Greater Western Sydneyregion, it is 45.8 kilometres from Sydney’s central business centre.

Businesses in Werrington revolve on the station area, with Foursquare Werrington serving as the hub of the neighbourhood with its pharmacy, liquor store, massage parlour, and coin-operated laundromat. A Bistro, Sports Bar, and VIP Lounge can all be found inside the Colonial Hotel on Victoria Street (late night poker machine room). The new Werrington Park Corporate Centre can be found in Claremont Meadows, very next to the Werrington South campus of the University of Western Sydney (despite the misleading campus name of Werrington South). Postal service in Werrington can be reached at 108 Victoria Street.

The Werrington stop is located on the North Shore, Northern & Western Line of the Sydney Trains network. In 2007, the station was given a comprehensive facelift that included a new lift for handicapped passengers and the paving of a parking lot on the station’s southern side. Werrington Station is served by Busways’ 782 and 785, which travel to Penrith. The Great Western Highway and the M4 Western Motorway both provide access to Werrington (Kent Road exit). In May of 2017, construction wrapped up on the first section of the Werrington Arterial Road, which runs between the Great Western Highway and the M4 Western Motorway. This section of road provides drivers with direct access to the M4 Western Motorway via on- and off-ramps in nearby Claremont Meadows.
